ADSET is a membership organisation which seeks to improve the quality, management, use and usefulness of information about learning opportunities, occupations and careers, student and client records, job vacancies, the labour market, and qualifications.

If you have landed here because of the link provided by Internet Resources Newsletter (thanks Roddy) please note that:

1. This website is currently undergoing a rebuild to enhance the service available. Tony of VeracITy-IT is helping me, Hazel, and has completed the re-design of the principal pages.
   However, as at 26 April 2008, I've still not completed the re-population of some of the pages. Some of this will, of course, be the same as the "old" site but it all needs checking.
   One of the things I'll do is move that rather pompous opening statement (probably left over from the days when your Mission Statement, writ large and bold, was an essential).
2. The phone number in the image at the top of the page is WRONG.
   It should be 01536 526424.
   I can't get into the image to change it so that's another change that needs doing.
3. If you're looking for the Opportunity directory or Careers Software News please send me an email or phone the number above.

In the meantime you may like to visit ADSET's weblog which was specifically designed to provide information, principally news items, for careers practitioners. The blog also provides an opportunity for comment and discussion and for linking to original sources in a timely fashion. ADSET members should note that items in the blog are NOT also included in Members' Update which will continue to provide articles about issues of more lasting interest including Dawn's now famous, or infamous, "funnies" page(s).
