This somewhat quirky site offers information, articles, resources and a variety of jobseeking tools.
Interesting that it starts from the point of resigning but does go through all the usual "make sure you've got a job to go to" stuff as well.
The "tools" section includes a variety of calculators for salary, lifestyle, car tax, commission and holiday planning.
Job Hunters Bible
This is a Web-based supplement to What Color is my Parachute? That has two sections.
The "net guide" includes an introduction to job-hunting on the Internet, guides to gateway sites and search engines, information on personality tests and advice sites, researching information, and job listing sites.
The "parachute library" contains articles by a number of authors about the different aspects of job-hunting and career management.

The UK's official graduate careers website which includes information and advice about jobs and employers, the graduate job market, work experience and working abroad. You can also search for job vacancies and postgraduate course and research opportunities. Register with My Prospects to receive job vacancies and courses by email or text; create your CV and have it checked online before employers see it; apply for jobs and courses online; and email a Careers Consultant for free, confidential advice about jobs and study in the UK.

You'll need to be careful as to whether you end up in the middle of Colorado (not that there's anything wrong with Colorado but Britain it ain't!)

A guide to over 50,000 HE courses in the UK from the Morrisby organisation.
Once registered you can complete an online general and specific interest questionnaire and supply various details about yourself to enable suggestions to be made.
