British Services - Careers
Provides links to the main governing bodies within careers guidance and other Internet resources including some of the careers gateway sites.
There is also a list of over 80 other relevant associations, government departments, industry sector bodies, job banks and career companies.

Careers Europe
The UK resource centre for international careers information.
Information is available about current European Union projects, and there are useful links to European and UK employment services.

Careers Gateway (Careersoft)
Includes links to the Internet sites of higher education institutions and industry professional bodies.
It also features a magazine, various careers articles, information about job seeking, and Careershow - a virtual careers exhibition.

Careers Portal (Trotman & Co)
A directory and search engine for careers information.
It features a word search facility, links to job hunting sites, universities, careers services, companies, schools, Government and occupations (professional bodies).
Advice on HE applications, a specialist section on Art and Design and information on student finance are also included.

Useful list of links to careers resources, vocational links, university help sites, plus much more. Many of which appear to be unique (others are familiar and circle round!)

Prospects.ac.uk
The UK's official graduate careers website which includes information and advice about jobs and employers, the graduate job market, work experience and working abroad. You can also search for job vacancies and postgraduate course and research opportunities. Register with My Prospects to receive job vacancies and courses by email or text; create your CV and have it checked online before employers see it; apply for jobs and courses online; and email a Careers Consultant for free, confidential advice about jobs and study in the UK.

Support 4 Learning
An information and advice portal for online resources to support learning, careers and jobsearch designed for use by advisers and students involved in education, training and communities.
The information will also help individuals choose funding and support for education, training, lifelong learning, career planning and jobsearch.
Covers categories of careers, community, counselling, education, health, jobsearch, money and reference.
You may find the depth of the menus a little confusing on first use.

The Virtual Careers Library (University of London)
A very large portal site covering: career choice; further study; job hunting resources; regional and international working; self-employment, voluntary and vacation work; equal opportunities resources; by degree subject relevance (careers resources relevant to particular degree subjects); professional bodies and trade associations categorised into 24 occupational sectors; and employer Websites.
